As a solo artist and a member of the Storyweavers duo, Lucinda has been a storyteller since 1985 when she left the world of theatre to engage in the art of storytelling, which she finds more immediate and engaging. With a voice that enchants and a heart that is compassionate, she has performed in coffee houses, libraries, schools and at conferences and festivals, including the prestigious National Storytelling Festival.

Lucinda tells original stories, stories from folkloric and literary traditions, and personal stories from her life on a 28 acre Southern Appalachian farm, her life in the city and her travels between. Her stories have humor, poignancy and heart.
