Joshua Safford is a multidisplined artist and a storyteller in both visual and oral tradition. For children he combines storytelling, magic, and circus arts to teach them about mythical figures all over the world. For adults he explores the border between fantasy, comedy, and horror in traditional myth and original stories. In addition to schools and libraries, Joshua is known for wizardly performances at Busker, Renaissance, Faerie, Magic, and Fantasy festivals across the country as both a storyteller and street magician. He has performed under a host of alter egos over the past fourteen years… Most notably a bird man and a human politician for the faeries, that fights for their supernatural rights. He also publishes the Daily Crock, a newspaper written entirely by Pixies Brownies and Leprechauns now made available to humans. More information about Joshua can be found at on his website. |
