Illinois Storytelling, Inc. is committed to increasing public awareness of the art, practice and value of oral storytelling. We recognize the need for a network in Illinois and the surrounding states to provide information regarding storytelling, storytellers, and storytelling events.

 

Your support of Illinois Storytelling, Inc. and its network will help make storytelling more visible by helping create opportunities for tellers to tell and listeners to listen.

 

Storyteller Professional Member

 

Basic Professional Membership: $50/year
Includes:

  • Listing in the online searchable storyteller directory which includes Photo, Contact Information (address, phone, email, website), Text/bio (provided by teller, up to 150 words)

  • Listing of your storytelling events in the Calendar of Events on the website

  • Listing of 2 of your storytelling products on the Marketplace page

 

Deluxe Professional Membership: $75/year

Includes:

  • Customized webpage (great for storytellers without a website) with url of www.storytelling.org/tellername (**additional one-time setup fee for new members)

  • Listing in the online searchable storyteller directory which includes Photo, Contact Information (address, phone, email, website), Text/bio (provided by teller, up to 150 words)

  • Listing of your storytelling events in the Calendar of Events on the website

  • Listing of 2 of your storytelling products on the Marketplace page

 

Storytelling Guilds: $25/year
Includes:

  • Basic Professional Membership

**Additional Deluxe Professional Member One-Time Set Up Fee: $140
This fee includes initial design of your customized webpage and two rounds of edits. Webpage launch will be made within two weeks from receipt of request if accompanied by receipt of materials needed (text, photos, etc) and timely correspondence from teller regarding edits. Send materials to webmaster@storytelling.org. You will be billed directly by the webmaster.

Customized webpage (mini website) with url of storytelling.org/tellername includes:

  • Customized nameplate/banner

  • Up to 6 images – logo, CD or book covers, photos, etc

  • Color preferences

  • Up to 2000 words – programs, workshops, affiliations, etc.

 

Changes or revisions to custom webpages (addresses of www.storytelling.org/tellername)
Changes or revisions to custom webpages will be billed at $30/hour in quarter hour increments. Additional fees will be billed directly by our webmaster. Members can expect requested changes to be made within a 2-4 day turnaround if accompanied by receipt of materials needed (text, photos, etc) and timely correspondence from teller regarding edits.
